"HR Bangladesh Ltd" is an Indigenous Human Resource Consulting firm and Placement Agency urgently hiring Project Officer – Finance & Accounts for a reputed Multinational NGO in its filed service and office operation.

Description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist and report to Finance Manager for financial works of the project.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting documentation.
  • Responsible for receiving and checking vouchers including field office's.
  • Prepare appropriate voucher and ensuring proper recording.
  • Implement financial data entry into the corporate system.
  • Prepare salary sheet for project and disburse salary and other payment for employees.
  • Prepare Tax and VAT deduction certificate and delivery to the concern.
  • Ensure deduction source Taxes and deposit to Govt. treasure per regulations.
  • Ensure to prepare withholding Tax and VAT return and submission to the Govt. per regulations.
  • Collaborate with the project team and local implementing partners to manage financial resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct field visit in the districts of the project as per instruction of the Management.
  • Invoicing and reporting.
  • Perform a supportive role for the interest of smooth project implementation.
  • Monitor project expenditures.
  • Prepare Bank reconciliation statement; advance schedules and petty cash reconciliation etc.
  • Review financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports, including budget utilization reports, financial statements, and other financial documentation as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support audit processes as needed.
  • Budget Monitoring and Analysis for ongoing projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular updates on budget utilization to project management.
  • Manage cash allocation for project expense.
  • Focus on supporting, assisting and reporting to Accounts & Finance Manager.
  • Coordinate with Admin dept. for the proper use of equipment used by the employees.
  • Ensure proper utilization of Financial tools for project implementation.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, potential risks, and areas for cost optimization.
  • Support in the development of financial forecasts, projections, and budget revisions as necessary.
  • Submit timely financial reports of the project.
  • Coordinate with the suppliers and vendors for the project’s financial requirement.
  • Coordinate with the Admin and HR dept. for salary payment, insurance facility and expense information for payment confirmation.
  • Coordinate with the banks for disbursing salary and other payments.
  • Keep all project related information in proper way so that any information can be provided as per need of the management.
  • Support and inform team and reporting chief, in analyzing trends, risks and conditions for managing projects and delivering services.
  • Liaise with other partners, donors, government authority, suppliers and service providers of the project, field implementation, and coordination with district and upazila levels.
  • Any other task assigned by Management.

  • Proficiency in using financial management software and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have knowledge of latest financial tools and techniques.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Fluency in English and Bangla languages, both written and spoken.
